We run the LAMP platform: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python. Our servers run RAID1 setup with SATA2 750gig drives.

How long does it take to setup my account?
For security purposes, all orders with TucanHosting.com are manually checked for fraud. Upon signing up, you'll receive an email stating that TucanHosting.com has received your order and is processing the request. After your order has been paid and verified, you will receive a welcome email and can begin using your account. Please note that if you wish to pay with a regular check, it may take longer to activate your account while we wait to receive payment.
Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
No, there are no hidden costs or fees associated with having a hosting account at TucanHosting.com. There are optional upgrades which can be ordered at Order Forms
How much is extra bandwidth and space?
If you need more bandwidth or disk space, email us to upgrade to a larger plan. If you need more bandwidth or space than our highest plan offers, send us an email at Support. Why was the order I placed marked as fraud?
A small percentage of TucanHosting.com's orders are marked as fraud. Every now and then, we mark someone who is actually legitimate as fraud for one of many reasons. Here are a few possibilities: 1. Your IP address may be inconsistent with the billing address of your order. 2. The phone number we called to confirm may have been incorrect or was unanswered. We apologize for any inconveniences. Don't worry, if you're who you say you are, your account will be setup.
